KPAI: Monitoring Towards Homeschooling Still Weak
December 2, 2019 – Education observer Fuad Fachruddin (left), Head of Equality Education of the Education and Culture Ministry Subi Sundoro (second left), Secretary-general of Asah Pena Anastasia Rima (third left), Research Coordinator Arif Subhan (second right) and Commissioner of the Child Protection Commission (KPAI) Rita Pranawati (right) became speakers in the launching of the result study conducted in 2019 by the Center for the Study of Islam and Society (PPIM) of the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta, on Thursday (28/11/2019). The study entitled “Radicalism and Homeschooling: Examination into Resilience and Vulnerability” resulted in recommendations that homeschooling students must interact with other people from various backgrounds as an attempt to teach tolerance and national values.
